Swift River Stone was founded in 2004 by Matt White and his father Jim White. Swift Rive Stone is a rock quarry located in Cummington, Massachusetts that specializes in Goshen Stone. The land was formed 400 million years ago in the lower Devonian Period. It was an ancient sea bottom that dried up, got pushed below the earth's surface, and the pressure glued the layers of sediment together which today we sell as Goshen Stone.
